2025 QETA Student Economics Competition

Open to students in Years 10, 11 and 12.

The competition will take place at your school with student online access to Digiexam, a secure online exam platform.

The competition consists of a 35 minute, 30 item multiple choice test assessing content from the QCAA Economics 2019 General Senior Syllabus.

There will be a number of questions assessing some knowledge of current economic events. The competition is free to all students of Economics in any Queensland secondary school. All students receive a certificate recognising their participation and results. There are cash prizes for the top students in each division.

Registration is complete upon the student detail spreadsheet being emailed to info@qeta.com.au by 5pm on Monday 21 July 2025.

Around June 30th Digiexam will start to replace the app possible to download on our web page and MS Store.
If a student would start the old application after June 30th, a message will appear and prompt a re-install.
