Students in Years 10–12 are invited to attend this special QETA event hosted by The Glennie School, featuring a
keynote address by the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Craig Lawrence from Lytton Advisory will deliver a short address on the role of economics in policy and possible careers in Economics.
The session will provide a contemporary macroeconomic update and explore the role of economics in shaping public policy in Australia. Students will gain valuable insights into current economic conditions, policy development, and the application of economic principles beyond the classroom.
The program also includes an interactive student debate, providing an opportunity for students to engage with current economic issues and develop their analytical and communication skills. Please note your interest in this part of the morning when registering.
This event is highly recommended for students studying Economics or those with an interest in public policy, politics, finance or business.
