Students from Years 9-11 at school in all sectors are invited to attend this special James Cook University and QETA event, featuring key note presentations on Monetary policy and economic conditions by the Reserve Bank of Australia, and Regional cost of living by the Economic Society of Australia (Qld). This is accompanied by a fireside chat with Economists chaired by Diana Castorina of James Cook University, focusing on where an understanding of Economics can lead to as a career path, plus answering other student questions.
There is no cost for students to attend this morning session. An online session is available for students who are
regional of Cairns.

This event is highly recommended for students studying Economics or those with an interest in public policy, politics, finance or business.
It is also very useful for any student intending to aim for Management positions in their chosen career.
