New Internationalist Magazine archive covers 1984-2002
In a sea of information, you need the NI Ark. This includes
the full text of New Internationalist magazines from January
1984 to Dec 2002. You can read all of the magazines on-screen
from the CD-Rom or simply use it as a high speed index to
your printed back issues of New Internationalist magazine.
The magnificent Mega Index - fully linked so you jump straight
to articles - now has over 22,000 entries, covering 18 years
of NI magazines.
Look, for example, under Country profile - Zimbabwe, and you'll
find an NI profile from July 1990, and then a re-visit in
May 2001. This long time-scale of the NI Ark 2003 enables
easy research on the progress of nations towards social justice.
Format: Cross-platform CD-Rom suitable for Windows, or Apple
Mac. Requires a web browser with java enabled (e.g. Internet
explorer). Sound card optionally required for interviews.
