Queensland Economic Teachers Association

The following services are available to all members:

1. Econopak, QETA's Journal, is produced 4 times per year
2. Professional Development Activities - Annual State Conference, Reserve Bank of Australia Seminar, and other seminars conducted from time to time at various centers.
3. An electronic Newsletter sent to all members on a fortnightly basis via email during school terms.
4. Representation on various bodies, such as Queensland Studies Authority.
5. Affiliation with Business Educators' Australasia, Global Learning Center (Brisbane), Joint Council of Queensland Teacher Associations. Qeta also affiliates with Jubilee 2000 and Australian volunteers International.
6. Development and sale of items useful for promoting Economics in schools.
7. Student Days at University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane.
8. Provision of resources through a comprehensive sales catalogue and online listing.
9. School entry in the annual QETA Student Economics competition.
10. Assistance with teaching and assessment of Economics.
